With a second lockdown in place and knowing how much our children wanted a dog, on the 24th of November, Brendan, Theresa, Patrick, and I traveled two hours north to pick up our Australian Shepherd puppy. The children named him Rocky, save for Aidan who fondly calls our puppy, “Douglas.”

Oh, how cute! My youngest wants a dog so much. Our two cats died, but we have never had a dog. Right now, she walks the neighbor's dogs.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to hear from you, Eva. I am sorry to hear that your cats died. We have both cats and dogs. I have to say that I prefer dogs. Since getting Rocky, we have added a little shichon (a shih-tzu and bichon mix)--a very easy, friendly, tiny dog, and a golden retriever.
ReplyDeleteBoth cats had traumatic deaths (I do not want to have to go through this again). You dogs sound so cute! There is a golden retriever in town here that is so beautiful!
