A couple of weeks ago (January 11 to be exact), the children took a break from our usual studies and enjoyed a snow day with their dad.
They had a delightful time throwing snowballs.
I enjoyed watching my family from inside our warm home.
Surprisingly, the snow stayed with us for about a week. I was not surprised that the novelty of the snow wore off at the end. I enjoyed the beauty of our winter wonderland, but like the rest of my family, I was thankful when the snow and ice melted, allowing us to resume our normal activities.
