Me: "What do you want for your birthday?"
Brendan: "A dog."
Me: "Other than a dog, what do you want?"
Brendan: "A puppy."
Me: "Other than a puppy, what do you want?"
Brendan: "I want Catherine to get a dog and it to have puppies, so that we all have a dog."
Guess what our little boy is not getting for his birthday.

This has been my dd's wish for too many years to count. She now has her own dog walking business. It helps.
ReplyDeleteBrendan! You should ask Godda for a dog when his dog gets puppies. I love you. What did you actually get for your b'day?
ReplyDeleteHe got a red bicycle, legos, the Paddington Treasury (we are continuing Mrs. Koreski's First Grade tradition), a U.S. floor puzzle, some more Imaginext pieces, and a Papo Robin Hood. The latter was on his cake and his eyes lit up when he saw it.
