Throughout the year, we read and look at a lot of picture books. Most of them come from our home library. A few of them come from the county library. Below are the picture books that we have checked out from the county library this year. I have to admit that we have since purchased some of the titles mentioned below.

We think the Seven Silly Eaters is sooo nice... especially the illustrations! And... we have seven kids. We have been given this book more than once. So, my son is one of the three kids in the mapguys blog and we were looking at your geography blog... and you are from South Africa? Fascinating. I am from Brazil, of course-- where the seasons occur in the right time fo the year. :-)

The Seven Silly Eaters is one of the books that has become part of our pesonal library. We can all relate to it and really appreciate the pictures. Yes, I was born in South Africa. We moved shortly after my sixth birthday. Come to think of it, the seasons in the southern hemisphere do occur at the right time of year. :)
