Please pray for the repose of Father Brian Gallagher's soul. May he rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon him.
Fr. Gallagher was a long time friend of my husband's family. He blessed our first child while she was still in my womb, and the crucifix that hangs above our bed was a wedding gift from him.

Fr. Gallagher died at a hospital in California, during or shortly after the earthquake that shook Southern California, today.
Please keep Fr. Gallagher's nieces and his brother, Nicholas, in your prayers, too.
Father Brian Gallagher's funeral will take place in Yakima, WA.
