My parents had five children on earth (my mom had a few miscarriages). My dad always wanted at least half a dozen children, but both of my parents accepted God's will. It was great to know that my parents were so open to life.
My parents had six, but none of my siblings has as many children. Most people get married later (I was almost 30 when my first one was born) these days, so I do think that has also something to do with family sizes.
Thanks, and good night. I am going to bed now. It is way too late, but I needed to get a handle on my e-mail. Way out of control these days. Have a blessed Sunday. Charlotte will be the cantor tomorrow, together with a girl her age.
Thank you, Elisa. He has started to giggle if someone else is holding him and they give him back to me, letting me know that he knows that I am his mommy. :) Oooh, the love of a baby is wonderful! I love God for blessing me with the gift of motherhood! As you know, it is truly wonderful.
So sweet, I wish I had another baby, but those times are very probably over.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Eva. You never know. You might ask our Blessed Mother to intercede for you. I did and I have now had two children since doing so. :)
DeleteYou know, I always wonder if I should or not. Maybe God thought that five is a wonderful number and I should be content.
