On Saturday, October 25, 2008, Elizabeth was baptized by Father Gerard Saguto, FSSP at Holy Family in West Seattle. She was the first baby to be baptized in the newly formed parish of the North American Martyrs. The baptism was filled with the beauty and richness of our Catholic faith. It reminded me in many ways of Catherine's Dominican rite baptism several years earlier. We are truly blessed to have the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter in the Archdiocese of Seattle. May God bless Fr. Saguto and our little Elizabeth.
Congratulations, both to the birth and also to the baptism! Welcome new member of the Catholic Church and child of God!

Regina, we look forward to seeing you and your beautiful children whenever it is possible. I still feel badly that I did not place an emphasis on where Elizabeth's baptism was taking place. I pray that you and your children feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!!! What a beautiful family picture! I am so glad that you were able to have her baptized at the new FSSP parish! What a blessing!
ReplyDeleteI actually have met Father Saguto! He was attending Christendom when I was a student there, and he was also ordained at the same time as one of my brother-in-laws!!!
Thank you, Jessica! We are truly blessed to have the FSSP in the Archdiocese of Seattle. Father Saguto is an excellent priest.
