On Sunday, Kieran watched some babies crawling in the vestibule. Since then, he has been attempting to become mobile. He's no longer satisfied with rolling over. He wants to move.
On Monday night, while we prayed the Rosary, Kieran did a semi-push-up with his arms, kicked his legs, and succeeded in pushing himself backwards. Realizing that that wasn't quite what he had intended to do, he tried again. He raised his chest off the floor, kicked his legs, and scooted backwards again. His third attempt saw him doing the exact same thing. Then, he started to fuss.
I know that Kieran will be crawling before I know it. I know that he will eventually stop trying to swim on the floor. For now, I am enjoying watching him try to figure out what he needs to do.
